- Can visitors buy my products online after they've gone home?
- Yes. Galway welcomes around one million overseas visitors a year, and many discover Claddagh rings, Connemara marble or Aran knitwear here before they fly home. An online shop lets them order again or send a gift later. We can set it up to ship abroad, show prices in the customer's own currency and work out delivery costs by country, so an order from Boston or Berlin is as simple as one from Dublin.
- Do I need a shop premises to sell online?
- No. Many Galway businesses sell from home, a workshop or a market stall. Your online shop can offer delivery across Ireland, local delivery around the city, or click and collect from wherever suits you. If you also sell at a market, Shopify can keep your stock in step between the stall and the website, so you don't sell the same item twice.
- Who adds the products, and do we need to meet to get the shop ready?
- No meetings are needed. We agree the plan on a video call, you send your product photos, descriptions and prices through a shared folder, and we build the shop around them. You can see a preview and comment on it before launch, and we show you how to add new products and process orders yourself. All you need is an internet connection.
