- How do I sell one-off, handmade pieces online?
- Kilkenny is home to the Design & Crafts Council Ireland, and many makers here sell pieces that can't simply be restocked. We can set up one-of-a-kind items that disappear from the shop once sold, made-to-order products with the making time shown before checkout, and commissions where a customer pays a deposit to secure their piece. Your shop then reflects how you actually work, not how a warehouse does.
- Can I sell workshops, classes or gift vouchers online?
- Yes. If you run pottery, craft or cookery classes, customers can choose a date, see how many places are left and pay to book, and the class closes automatically when it's full. Gift vouchers for classes or products make easy presents for people who'd rather choose for themselves. Bookings are built into Wix and added with an app or plugin on Shopify and WooCommerce, and we'll explain any extra cost first.
- Do I need professional product photos?
- Not to get started. Clear, consistent photos taken in good daylight on a plain background work well, and a recent phone is fine. What matters most is showing the piece from a few angles, with one photo that gives a sense of size. You send the photos through a shared folder, and we set up the image sizes and layout so every product page looks consistent.
